4K
This is a name for the resolution level of a video screen. In this instance it means that the resolution is approximately 4000 pixels across the bottom of the screen (referred to as the y-axis), and approximately 2160 pixels along the side of the screen (x-axis). Screen resolutions range from standard resolution (SD) all the way through to 8k Ultra High Definition (UHD). (Sell also Full HD).
Back in 2016 we came up with the term Video Marketing Platform to describe our product. It was then adopted by our competitors, becoming the default term for our category in the process. As we've grown, so has the terminology we use. So to make sure everyone is on the same page about what we mean, we've created this dictionary. We hope you find it useful.
At TwentyThree Dan is focused on shining a light on the ever increasing role of video within marketing communication and the need for businesses to develop video strategies to help them evolve into fully video-enabled organizations, so they can engage with their customers in the way they want, and increasingly expect.
