1. Video Vision
Knowing what you want to achieve with video for your business and customers is critical. The video vision looks to capture this as clearly as possible.
Video Strategy
Framework
Companies have countless communication strategies — from digital to social to content, and invest heavily in making them work. But with video now the backbone of modern communication, a dedicated video strategy is becoming essential for brand builders- just as digital and social strategies were over the last two decades.
At TwentyThree, our Video Accelerator Team set out to define what that strategy should look like, so we could create an open source framework for our clients and partners to use and help businesses drive their video maturity and accelerator their video journey.Â
So, over the past eight months we have been talking with CMOs, Communication Strategists, Media Planners, KOLs and Partners to explore how businesses can build a video strategy both conceptually and practically.
From those conversations, six core pillars consistently emerged- forming the foundation of our Video Strategy Framework, outlined below.
1. Video Vision
Knowing what you want to achieve with video for your business and customers is critical. The video vision looks to capture this as clearly as possible.
2. Video Formats
There is an increasingly wide selection of formats to communicate with your audience and team. Getting this right in today’s media fragmented, and low-attention world is key.
3. Video Platforms
Being video first requires the right tech infrastructure to be in place. Getting this with the right integrations takes your video to the next level.
4. Video Organization
All company departments have different video needs, but few companies have oversight over all assets being produced. Creating a video team ensures brand consistency and avoids content duplication.
5. Video Budget
Understanding exactly what an organization actually spends on video is difficult. But only when you understand all the costs can you understand the ROI.
6. Video Metrics
Effectively moving forward as a video organization will depend on showing its efficacy. Understanding the quantitative and qualitative results of video will be key to demonstrating this.
Video Strategy Workshops
For those businesses wishing to transform to being video first and video enabled we run video strategy workshops to dig into their vision, business objectives, tech infrastructure and organizational set up (among other things), allowing them to develop a comprehensive video strategy to take back to the business.
"It’s easy to overlook the importance of video, as it’s never had a hype cycle like computers, the internet or more recently, AI. But video is actually what makes these technologies so powerful- and shows that video is the medium of our time for business and culture."
